Two typefaces. One identity.
Within the ELAN visual identity, we work with two typefaces: Bricolage Grotesque en Outfit.
Bricolage Grotesque is the characteristic heading typeface. We use it for headlines, short statements and expressive brand language. Bricolage Grotesque gives ELAN a recognisable voice of its own. Do not use Bricolage Grotesque for long-form text.
Outfit is the foundation for all other typography. This modern, geometric sans serif brings calm, clarity and a contemporary feel, and pairs naturally with the more expressive character of Bricolage Grotesque. It is used for the logo, the payoff Building Understanding, body copy, captions, navigation and functional typography. This keeps the typographic system clear, consistent and easy to apply across all ELAN communication.

Bricolage Grotesque is available in multiple weights. Within the ELAN identity, we use Regular, Semi Bold and Bold. This creates enough room for hierarchy and emphasis, while keeping the overall typography calm and consistent.

Outfit is available in a range of weights, allowing for clear hierarchy and flexible use across digital and print materials.

Outfit is available in multiple weights. Within the ELAN identity, we use Light, Normal, Medium and Bold. This creates enough room for hierarchy and emphasis, while keeping the overall typography calm and consistent.
The brand fonts are available as open-source Google Fonts and can be downloaded directly from this brand guide. The font files are provided for easy access and consistent use across brand applications. Please keep the included license file with the fonts when installing or sharing them.
